Official Statement from the Rockwood Borough Council

Rockwood Borough Council is aware of an issue affecting some recent water bills, with some residents receiving bills significantly higher than expected. We are actively working to correct the problem as quickly as possible.
In the meantime, residents who received a higher-than-expected bill are asked to instead pay the same amount they paid on their previous month’s bill while the issue is resolved.

Rockwood Borough was laid out by Philip Wolfersberger in 1857 and incorporated in 1885. Located in southeast Somerset County, part of the Johnstown metropolitan area, 57 miles southeast of Pittsburgh.
